Hi this is Lisa, Jenny's daughter.Mum has had a really bad time this week, but thankfully is now over the worst.I called the ambulance again on Monday and they eventually found after doing scans she had a blockage in her intestine, which was caused by gallstones escaping her gallbladder.When they went to operate on Tuesday morning, she had a bad reaction to something in the anaesthetic and ended up in ICU on allsorts of medication and kept sedated as she was so poorly They managed to do the op yesterday, which was a complete success and now she's doing well, but obviously in a fair bit of pain.She'll be in ICU for today but hopefully can be moved to a ward either tonight or tomorrow. It's been a real stressful week, but fingers crossed she's over the worst now.
